American Idol is back in stage 2014 Season with the name of 13th Season and It's Season Premiere will held this 15th January 2014!!! I will try watching as I love the singing, however, not the beginning junk with all the weirdos. I like it when it gets to the beginning chosen group. I think the judges are great and so glad Simon is gone, gone, gone and now Randy Jackson (DAWG). I LOVE THE VOICE and started watching it because of the rotten judges on IDOL (except Urban). I think this line-up is a good mix of hip-hop, country and jazz classics, so hopefully some really talented people will audition. At any rate, who doesn't want to look at Keith and Harry all night?! J-Lo is a good singer/dancer/fashion designer and seems to know her stuff. I'm in!
The thirteenth season of American Idol, also known as American Idol XIII, is slated to premiere on the Fox television network on January 15, 2014, a day that has not seen the premiere of an American Idol season since season 7 when David Archuleta's July 30, 2007 audition was aired, which was reminiscent of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows July 2007 release and being famous for being the birthday of Neville Longbottom, the day before Harry Potter's birthday. Keith Urban returned for his second season as a judge. Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, and Nicki Minaj were replaced by Harry Connick, Jr. and Jennifer Lopez, who returned to the show for her third season after her absence in season 12. Rickey Minor will return to the show as musical director after having left at the end of season 9 to go to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
